Cancellation terms

A booking request can be cancelled completely free of charge as long as it is in the "awaiting confirmation" state. Nothing has been charged at this stage, so cancellation causes no cost to either party.

Cancellation is done using your booking reference at varaaretkipaku.fi/varaukseni.

Once the rental company has confirmed the booking, the portion refunded on cancellation depends on how soon before pickup the cancellation is made:

At least 14 days before pickup (100 %): Cancellation is free of charge. If you have already paid, we will refund the amount within three business days.

At least 7 but less than 14 days before pickup (50 %): Half is refunded, half remains as a cancellation fee.

Less than 7 days before pickup (0 %): In case of illness, we will move the booking to another time against a medical certificate.

If the rental company does not confirm the booking request (rejection), the reserved dates are released from the calendar immediately and nothing is charged.

If, in a very exceptional case, the rental company has to cancel an already confirmed booking (for example due to the vehicle breaking down), the entire amount paid is refunded in full.
