Do I need a special driving licence?

No. The van is under 3,500 kg, so a normal category B licence is enough. The licence must have been valid for at least two years, and the driver must be at least 23.

Can I drive the van to Norway or Sweden?

Yes. Besides Finland, you can drive the van in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. Driving to other countries needs to be agreed separately in advance.

How many people can sleep in the van?

Why doesn't booking require an account?

Accepted Answer

Because renting a single van doesn't need a user account. Once you send a request, you'll get a long booking reference on screen. It acts as the key to your booking — use it to view details, change add-ons and cancel if needed. Save it right away — we don't email it to you, and we don't keep your details for anything else.

I lost my booking reference. What do I do?

Call 041 545 3432. We can't resend the reference by email, but we can find your booking over the phone using your name and dates.

How and when do I pay?

You don't pay anything on the site. Once the rental company has confirmed your booking, the payment method and timing are agreed directly with you by phone or email.

How quickly will I get a reply to my request?

Usually within the same day, and no later than within 48 hours.

Can I pick up the van later than 16.00?

Accepted Answer

Yes, just let us know in advance so we can be there. Outside summer, pickup and return times can also be arranged separately.

What if I return the van late?

Accepted Answer

If the van is returned late, a late fee is charged as follows: 30 minutes–2 hours, €100; more than 2 hours, €200; more than a full day, the following week's weekly rate. These fees are meant to ensure the next renter gets the van on time. Outside summer, the return can be arranged case by case.

Who checks the van's condition at pickup and return?

Accepted Answer

We go through the van's condition together at both pickup and return, and photograph it on the phone — you'll get the photos from both times.

What do I do if I need help during the trip?

Call the rental company directly at 041 545 3432 — the phone is also answered at night if needed. For a vehicle breakdown, call roadside assistance on 0200 8000 (24h, towing included in the rental). In an emergency, always call 112 first.

How do I empty the toilet and grey water during the trip?

The cassette toilet and grey water tank can be emptied at a service station or a campsite dump point.

You can ask for extra time by calling the rental company directly at 041 545 3432. Ask well before the agreed return time, since the van may be heading straight into the next booking.
